But what if I met someone who is warm and kind and gives bear hugs and jokes around, and thinks up odd nicknames for me, who runs after me when I run, who makes up and tells me bedtime stories. Who is smart and curious and caring and brings me small gifts in random moments, who passes me stuff and brings me coffee to the bed.
And I love them. Ten years have passed since we met, but I love them even more than I did at first. We have both grown and learned and become better and I wouldn't exchange the bun I have now for anyone else.
Yet - he snores and whines about dumb things and overthinks at times and sulks rather than explaining and many times in past - he did not know how to treat me right at all. I had to teach him. And same for me - he had to teach me a lot of things, as I was not born with the inherent knowledge of how to t
